 Dixie Fiatfest(Carolina FLU), Winston-Salem, NC, September 4 thru September 5.

Saturday, Sept 4th at 9 am we will gather for the second annual Fiat Mini Migilia, a time/distance rally through the local mountains. We will end at the scenic Hanging Rock State Park for a cookout and hiking or relaxing. Saturday evening at 7 pm, we will meet at Hillbilly Hideaway for good country food and live local entertainment. Sunday at 10 am, we will meet at the BB&T field parking lot at Wake Forest University for our annual autocross with the BMW 2002 group. Lunch will be pizza and drinks. The Central Virginia British Car Club presents its 26th annual European automobile festival, Classics on the Green - 10:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the New Kent Winery, 8400 Old Church Road, (off Exit 211 on I-64 in New Kent, Virginia). The New Kent Winery, which offers a beautiful venue with an expanded show field and many other activities for the family's enjoyment, is also holding a Wine Festival and Tasting in conjunction with the show. The featured marque this year will be Porsche motor vehicles, along with a special display of Designs by Pininfarina. Joining the Porsches will be an exceptional collection of Ferrari automobiles, and other extraordinary nameplates including Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, AC Bristol, Nash Healy, Austin-Healey, MG, Mini, Morris, Triumph, Jaguar, BMW, DeLorean, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Saab, Volvo, Rover, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Pantera, TVR and many more. There will be music, food, wine, and a variety of specialty vendors. This is a rain or shine, pre-registration show only, and on-line or mail-in registration forms must be received by Wednesday, September 1st. Spectator admission for the Automobile Festival is $10.00 for adults (children under twelve are free). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
